The people of COMCHURCH have been meeting since its inception in 1984, originally DCC, in the lounge of Doug & Helena Richards, before moving to the Queensway Hall, then to Queensbury School, before on to what is now its Head Office and smaller centre on High Street North. Then, in 2009, having outgrown the sanctuary in that building, DCC moved its Worship Centre just down the road to the 1000-seat auditorium which was formally the Union Cinema and Cubes Nightclub. 10th NOV 2013 DCC became COMCHURCH.
Today, the original vision of a dynamic, vibrant Church that would affect the community is no less real and is on the hearts of all DCC members, who endeavour to make DCC a place where everyone who enters will find love, acceptance, help, forgiveness and encouragement to embrace their future with hope and a new life that is centred in the Lord Jesus Christ and so become the person God intended them to be.
What do we do for students?
We have youth and student groups that meet during the week! We try and really help Students mature and grow as Christians through there Uni years to help reach the community they are in and make a real impact!!
