Koinonia is an ecumenical, charismatic and intercollegiate Christian student community in London. We want everyone to know Jesus as Lord, to love him with everything and to make him loved forever.
We come from Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Evangelical, Orthodox and Protestant backgrounds and work together for Christian unity whilst being active in our particular churches and sharing the beauty of this unity.
We are charismatic, open to the works and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
We love cooking and sharing meals and would be honoured if you join us.
What do we do for students?
Koinonia helps students in their Christian life by building student Christian community on campus, inviting others in, equipping Christians to live a lifelong journey of discipleship and through an environment where the Christian faith can flourish during uni.
We have prayer meetings, small groups, 1-1 mentorship, social events, weekends away, and more.
"It’s been absolutely amazing meeting new people in Koinonia and fellowshipping, knowing everyone has the same mindset to live for Christ and represent Him. You can feel so much peace and joy during Koi events and you can speak freely and ask any questions you may have pertaining to Christianity. I think it’s especially good for people who want to have a deeper relationship with God but find it difficult, maybe because of fear of what others might think. Wherever you are in your Christian journey, you always need fellow Christians in your life to help you out and Koi is a great place to have this."
