We’re a large and growing church made up of people from every stage of life—students, families, creatives, professionals, retirees—all united by a big, bold vision: to see Weston-super-Mare renewed and lives restored as we follow the way of Jesus. There’s a real buzz about what God is doing here, and we’re all about building a church that feels like home—relational, vibrant, and full of life.

Since March 2022, when Craig Philbrick joined as Vicar, we’ve been stepping into a new season of growth and possibility. Whether you’re new to faith, just curious, or ready to dive in, there’s space for you to explore, belong, and get involved in something that matters.

We’re just a short walk from the beach and the town centre, making St Paul’s the perfect place to connect, make friends, and be part of something bigger than yourself. It’s an exciting time to join the story—come and play your part!

What do we do for students?

At St Paul’s, we believe God is raising up a generation—like John the Baptist—bold, passionate, and fully alive with purpose. We’re here to champion students and young adults who are hungry for more, ready to live with joy, chase after Jesus, and make a real difference in the world.

We offer weekly socials—from BBQs and movie nights to worship nights and games—creating space to laugh, connect, and build lasting friendships. Our 6PM Encounter service is made for you: creative, Spirit-filled, and full of moments to go deeper with God and each other.

We’re a lively, welcoming community of Young Adults passionate about real friendships, having fun, and living out our faith at college, uni, and beyond! Whether you’ve just moved to Weston or have been here a while, we’d love to meet you and help you find your people.

Our 11:00am Family Service is a great place to start—there’s a café, youth groups, and vibrant worship for all generations.

The heart of our Young Adults community is Encounter—our 6:00pm service that’s creative, energetic, and full of life. Every week we press into God with interactive prayer, powerful worship, and honest conversations. We finish with a fun social—BBQs, games, worship nights, movies, and more.

We also meet in Small Groups every Monday to go deeper, ask big questions, and grow in faith together. Whether you’re exploring Jesus, new to faith, not sure what you believe, or a lifelong Christian—you’re welcome here!
