We are a large, vibrant, cross-generational and multi-ethnic Christian community, passionate about God and striving to be in deep relationship with Him and each other. We're committed to teaching God's Word and making disciples who are shaped by it. We're also committed to local and overseas mission and to serving our local community. We seek to be creative and inclusive in our worship, drawing on a range of styles and traditions whilst remaining broadly contemporary. Our life together is sometimes messy, never perfect but, hopefully, authentic; we try not to forget that we're all sinners, saved by grace. Students are warmly welcomed and encouraged to get involved in church family life, as well as with our Young Adult group.

What do we do for students?

We meet as students and young adults on Tuesday evenings (7.30pm) for Bible studies, fellowship and prayer. Plenty of socials throughout the year, with a weekend away in March/April at the end of the spring term. We are a very friendly group and always love to see new people - you'd be more than welcome to come along and join us!

Cornerstone are a group of Cantonese-speaking students from South-East Asia, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan and we meet regularly during term-time. We'd love to meet you!

At GBC, we encourage students to get involved in church activities and to use their gifts to serve the church. Our children and youth team, hospitality team, worship team, PA team and welcome team are all open to students who want to serve in this way!
