Severn Vineyard Bristol
A bit more...
As part of the Vineyard group of churches, we are passionate about partnering with God to extend His Kingdom together everywhere, in every way.
- We want the Bible to be the primary influence in our lives and the foundation of our faith.
- We have Expectancy that God still does stuff today. We pray for God’s kingdom to break into the here and now through signs, wonders and miracles.
- We believe God wants to meet us in tangible ways, and therefore love to create space for encounter with his Spirit, especially in sung worship.
- We love the joy of Community as we pray for one another, worship together, have fun and just do life together.
What do we do for students?
We have a Young Adults and Students community group that meets every Wednesday evening. Some weeks we meet in someone's home to eat together, pray, worship and look at the Bible together. Other weeks we do different things in the city, whether community outreach or just having fun!
We also love to grab lunch and hang out together on a Sunday after the service. If you're a new student, we'd love to treat you to a lunch on us as a welcome to the city!
We understand that moving away from home for the first time can be a daunting prospect, and we'd love to be part of giving you a huge welcome to Bristol! When you arrive we'd love to connect with you over coffee or a walk - just drop us a message. There's nothing like a church to help you settle in. It's a great way to make new friends and feel the warmth of not just other students, but several generations of people who call Severn their church.
