The vision of St Peter’s church is to play our part in the evangelisation of Brighton and the transformation of society.
In 2009, St Peter’s church was about to close and 30 people moved down from a church called HTB in London to help rebuild the church community.
It’s been an incredibly exciting journey since then, God has done some incredible things – people have come to faith on Alpha; we run a meal with the street community on Saturday night alongside weekly drop-ins for those who need a safe place; kids, youth, and student groups; and lively Sunday services.
We would love to be your home from home during your time here in Brighton. Can’t wait to meet you!
What do we do for students?
We want you to build a life long friendship with Jesus.
We love students & young adults and they are at the heart of St Peter’s - you’ll find them on the Kids or Youth team, helping on Alpha, serving the homeless a hot meal on a Saturday, and whole host of other things going on. If you’re looking to get stuck in, St Peter’s is the place for you.
Our hope is to be a home away from home, to help you find a family here at St Peter's as well as grow in your faith and have fun doing it.

THE 6.30 - An informal service at 6.30pm every Sunday which includes a time of worship, talk, prayer and we regularly host student socials afterwards
COLLECTIVE - Every other Tuesday we get together as Collective - a student & young adult community - to hang out, eat food, have our own time of worship, hear a talk and grow together in our faith and as a family
GROUPS - groups meet in homes every other Tuesday of term time and are primarily made up of students & young adults age 18-29. A chance to dig deeper in faith and friendship.
LUNCH AT THE LUKE'S - An amazing family from St Peter's open their home every other week for Collective to hang out, meet others and eat a delicious home cooked meal!
