A bit more...

We are a church family in the heart of the city, made up of a mix of different people united in our love of Jesus.

We believe the gospel is the best news in the world and it's for all people! So we aim to keep Jesus at the centre of our life together as we hear and read about him in the Bible, as we sing his praises, as we depend on him in prayer, and as we try to live for him day to day in every area of our lives by the power of his Spirit.

We are also a place where you can ask your questions. Whether you are just starting to find out about the Christian faith or you've been walking with Jesus for years we pray that you will feel warmly welcomed, comforted and challenged as we together grow in our relationships with God and one another.

What do we do for students?

We encourage students at ECC to get stuck in with the wider church family, sharing life together, and to spend time together as students from both UWE and Bristol Uni. So there is a whole host of things going on...

Student small groups on Sunday nights...
Student and whole church Weekends Away...
Summer Getaway to read a great Christian book together...
Student socials...
Meeting with an older Christian during the week to discuss life and how the Bible speaks into it...
Events for grads, thinking about the future...

Plus if you're an international student, why not join our Tuesday night English Conversation Café?

We'd love to meet you when you arrive and would happily meet for a coffee to talk to you more about ECC and help you find your way around this great city!

Get Directions

Our Sunday service starts at 4:30pm, followed by tea, coffee and cakes.
Our services are also streamed online via YouTube, which could be a good way to check us out before arriving in Bristol.

During term time, our student small groups meet after tea and coffee, at 6:30. Joining a small group is one of the best ways to build community- each week we discuss how to apply the passage we've just heard to our lives and pray for one another.
