A bit more...

Holy Trinity Micklegate is the only surviving monastic building still in use today as a place of worship.

We are an inclusive and hospitable church welcoming everyone whether they have been Christians for a while and those who are new to or exploring their faith. Exploring faith is an important part of our life together. The heart of our community is people of all ages and backgrounds working together in fellowship.

Holy Trinity Micklegate is easy to get to from both universities:
- The church is at the top of Micklegate near the Post Office.
- The number 4 bus (from York University) and the numbers 1, 5 and 5A buses (from York St John University), all stop on Blossom Street. We are a short walk away - cross over from Blossom Street into Micklegate Bar and continue to walk down, the church is on the right.
- The number 66 bus (from York University) stops on Nunnery Lane. From here, walk up Nunnery Lane as if heading to the Railway Station. Turn right into Micklegate Bar and continue down.

What do we do for students?

Welcome
We will be holding our welcome meal again in October (date to be confirmed). It gives students and young adults the opportunity to socialise and meet friends over free food.

Young Adults Group
In October our Sundays at 6pm will begin again. This is a time to chat, snack and explore faith together. Dates to be announced shortly.
