Everyone is welcome at Woodlands.

We believe that we are all on a journey of discovery and faith and that it's helpful to do that in a community with other people: People who can not only support each other in that exploration but also in life's difficulties and celebrations.

In that community, in love, in prayer, and through a greater understanding of the Bible, we want to:

-Help people become committed Christians and part of the international family of God
-Disciple each person to follow and become more like Jesus
-Release everyone into ministry, gifts and mission, working together in unity with other churches & organisations
-Reach our region with the gospel and bless the nations, especially the poorest

We do this not by our own abilities, but with God's guidance and help, and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Woodlands Central is part of the Woodlands Church Family, a multi-site church family of 8 gatherings across the city of Bristol!

What do we do for students?

Sundays -
Every Sunday night we host socials after the 6.30, downstairs below the main hall. A great space to connect in with one another and build community! We mostly head to the pub for afters
Once a month we also provide extra Bible teaching at our Student Bible School where we dig into Scripture, learning to love the Word, and understand how to wisely plant it into our lives.

Tuesdays -
7pm we meet up for our main Student Gatherings or small groups. At Student Gatherings we arrive for food, worship and Word
Our small groups are led by students for students, where you can connect in a more intimate setting and really get to know each other and deepen your walk with God!

Other stuff -
Coffees on Campus to share Jesus and his good news with other students.
Student Take over and Study Space on Friday afternoons, to have fun and get some 'work' done!
There are also loads of opportunities to serve the city and church, be it on the streets or with the kids team !

On Sundays there are four services you can connect with:

The 8am - Great one for the early risers! Pastries, loads of wisdom in the room and more contemplative time of worship

The 9.15am - mainly for families and little ones, but a very fun vibe

The 11am - our largest morning congregation, your classic morning service lots of families and kids, young adults and everyone else! Great teaching and exciting worship with a big family feel

The 6:30pm - our largest celebration with in put from across the Woodlands Church Family! Powerful worship, word and prayer ministry that's accessible for everyone. Most of our students get stuck in with this service, so this is where to catch them, with a student social downstairs afterwards!
