A bit more...

Something old & something new -- we are a church in the sacramental tradition, which means that we believe Jesus shows up in the bread and wine, as well in the face of every person. In this parish we encourage people to slow down, open up, and explore the treasury of Christian wisdom, but not be afraid to question and to challenge, every step of the way. We are a member of the Inclusive Church network.

Something small & something big -- we are a neighbourhood church, seeking the peace of Bethnal Green. We're also a part of the Church of England and the Anglican Communion, which enables us to connect with Christians around the world, learning from lives of faith around the world, past and present.

Something trad & something experimental -- we do like our 'smells and bells' because we think that multi sensory worship is brilliant! We also do this liturgy/style with a light touch, and welcome those with ideas about new ways of worshipping, experimental, artistic, contemplative, or otherwise.

What do we do for students?

We welcome students warmly and make space for them in our parish life, from sharing a cup of coffee, to getting involved in worship, to serving the local area. We are committed to caring pastorally for students, and to helping them connect up with people who've been in the parish longer. We host social events and make space regularly for students to explore Christian spirituality.
