About us

We are based in the Gilesgate are of Durham. We seek to serve the community around the church through sharing the good news and serving the community in the name of Jesus.
Our service on Sunday morning uses both modern song and older hymns. The service on the first Sunday of the month is an informal “Café Church”. The fellowship sees the reading and proclamation of the word of God as of utmost importance. As a group of God’s people we believe all have received gifts from God, and everyone should exercise those gifts for the up building of the church, and its continuing mission.

What do we do for students?

We seek to make students feel at home and encourage them to be come a full part of the fellowship. All the ministries of the church are opportunities for Students to be engaged in a community based setting, thus enabling them to grow as disciples.
