St. George’s is a lively, city centre church based in the heart of Leeds. We are an evangelical, charismatic, Anglican church and our services include a modern worship style. We believe that the Bible is the authoritative revelation of God, that we gain salvation through Jesus, and that the Holy Spirit is working today. As a resource church, we support church plants and CU mission across Leeds.

We have a real heart for students from all of the universities across Leeds - whether you’re a fresher or a returning 4th year, we’d love to get you plugged into St G’s. We care about students from all backgrounds - those exploring faith for the first time, or those learning how to better share your faith with others… we want you to feel like part of the family.

What do we do for students?

St G’s has services at 10:30 & 18:30 and we'd love for you to join us! As students, we gather before the evening service at 5pm for Student Teas - a £2 meal which you don’t need to cook, where you can find community, have good chats and bring your friends.
We would also love to get you involved in Student Night on Thursdays at 7:30pm, where we have worship, student small groups, discussions and snacks every week. We have a number of events planned throughout the year to build community and live out our faith, drawing near to Jesus!

A highlight of the year is the annual Student Weekend Away, where we go to the Yorkshire countryside for a weekend of teaching and fun. There are also opportunities to serve in the wider church, such as with kids, youth, Alpha, Lighthouse (our homeless community), Farsi Speaking community, worship, etc.
