For over a thousand years we have been welcoming people to join with us in worshipping God, Learning about Jesus and living in the Holy Spirit. Inspired by St Cuthbert, Bede and the Northern Saints we are a very active and welcoming community that serves the north east of England and the World in the name of Jesus Christ. It is where the Bishop of Durham has his seat and we work closely with the wider communities in which we are set including the university.
What do we do for students?
We offer students a warm, unconditional welcome, a sanctuary and a place of unsurpassed beauty and history.
Every Tuesday we have a special evening for Students from 5:30pm. You are very welcome.
