York Elim Pentecostal Church welcomes a mixture of people, with a congregation made up of many nationalities, ages and backgrounds. Our Sunday meetings offer a friendly environment, with lively, Spirit-filled worship and high-content bible teaching. We meet each Sunday at 11.00am in the Novotel and at 5:00pm in our future home on Monkgate at Elim Link (an international congregation). The preach is usually the same at both venues.

We welcome students to our church and encourage them to get involved within church life. We are keen to see students develop the gifts and abilities that God has given them so offer opportunities to do this by joining different leadership teams and also through courses we offer. What do we do for students?

We aim to see students grow in both faith and maturity whilst they are worshiping with us. We take a marked interest in enabling students to experiment with the gifts God has given them, like worship leading and preaching, by offering training in these areas and providing opportunities for them to develop these in our church. Josh, our assistant minister, has prime responsibility for youth and students and he hosts events for them during the week.

Our main meetings are on Sunday morning at 11.00am at the Novotel and on Sunday afternoon at 5:00pm at the former Trinity Methodist Church, Monkgate, now belonging to us. Our building in Monkgate is currently having a complete refurbishment and we expect to hold both services there from 2026.
